Barbie Imperial becomes real-life Barbie doll for birthday photo shoot

For many young girls, Mattel's famous doll Barbie has been their best companion throughout their childhood days. She represents joy and their dreams. And even up to this day, many women still pay homage to the influence and happiness the doll had given them in their youth. Among them is actress Barbie Imperial.

As she celebrates her 23rd birthday, the young celeb puts on a blond wig and all things pink as she becomes a real-life Barbie doll in a photo shoot, which she shared on social media on the day of her birthday, Aug. 1, 2021.

"Be your own doll, be who you want to be, and live your dream," the actress posted. "Let your colorful imagination blossom into a bouquet of playful possibilities."

Photographed by Shaira Luna, the editorial captures the actress in a dream closet featuring pieces from local fashion designers and labels we bet Barbie doll herself will definitely approve. Styled by Myrrh Lao To, the actress dons a pink bias dress with gold chain sleeves from Light Shine White paired with a white faux fur coat by designer Thian Rodriguez, and PVC leather look by MÃ Cheri for her second look.

In her previous shoots, the actress went full on fantasy as she looked like a fairy straight from a bedtime story wearing ethereal creations by Light Shine White and Mara Chua, and a goddess in a Leo-inspired shoot posing in golden dresses by AJ Javier.

"The last set is the pinnacle of Barbie Imperial's shoot." Myrrh muses. "It encapsulates the birthday party of a Barbie doll with its bright lights and pink classy setting. If the first set is whimsical and the second is fierce, this set embodies her fun and bubbly charm."
