He can be seen doing his martial arts moves in the latest video advertisement where he is interrupted by the Shopee sound alert on his phone. Then he dances and even greets Pinoys in Tagalog, "Bili na sa Shopee. Salamat, Shopee!"

So why is September 9 so special? It marks the start of the year-end shopping season, and Shopee started this 9.9 sale last 2016. This idea came about when they conducted a survey where 90 percent of the users across the region wanted to make better purchases, especially for the holiday season. What more during this pandemic!
