Newlyweds Angel Locsin and Neil Arce are looking forward to building their own family.

In a recent interview with Karen Davila, the couple intimated their plans.

Apparently, Neil only wants one child if ever.

He said, “'Yung totoo, one lang pero maximum two."

He then reasoned, "Only child ako e so, medyo gusto ko 'yung spoiled. At least medyo nakatutok din kami, hindi masyadong mahirap.”

Note that Neil already has a 14-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Angel sees no problem with it, describing her husband's son, Joaquin, a "good kid."

She has also established good rapport with the kid's mom.

“'Yung mommy niya sobrang nakatutok sa kanya, mabait, sobrang kalog na tao din talaga and priority din talaga siya,” she said.

She won't insist on Joaquin calling her mom.

“Actually hindi ko rin po alam kung anong tawag sa akin kasi may mommy naman po siya... Hindi ko naman sinisingit 'yung sarili ko sa picture. I am happy na tawagin akong Tita Angel. Wala akong problema doon,” she said.

Prior, Angel related in a vlog how Neil once told her he doesn't want to have more kids or get married at all.

They had to sit down and talk about it agreeing to a "compromise."

She said, "Kinausap ko siya, na parang… inirerespeto ko yung desisyon mo, yung gusto mo sa buhay. Alam ko iyan bago pa ako pumasok sa ganitong situation. Pero papaano kung ako, gusto kong magkaanak, gusto kong mag-asawa? Kailangan mong respetuhin din yung desisyon ko. So, pinag-usapan namin kung papaano. Kung ano yung magwo-work para sa amin.”
