A photo of boxing champ Senator Manny Pacquiao and television personality Raymond Gutierrez together has sent mixed reactions to the members of the LGBTQ community.

On Instagram, Raymond shared a picture with Pacquiao at the Wild Card boxing gym in Los Angeles, California recently.

Pacquiao is in LA training for the fight with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas, for the WBA welterweight title on Sunday, Aug. 22.

Raymond captioned the snap: "Heard @mannypacquiao needed a new opponent."

Some comments:

"I'd pay to watch this fight"

"Grabeee! Pogi ng new opponent. I want a heart pls"

"Mond for the win."

Celebrities Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, Bubbles Paraiso, Georgina Wilson, and Isabel Daza found the photo cute.

But some are not happy with the picture.

"Isang suntok para sa SOGIE Equality Bill na pinigilan ni Senator Pacquiao na maipasa sa Senado"

"Never forget what he said that WE (That includes you, Raymond) are worse than animals."

"Tinawag tayo nyang masahol pa sa hayop dati, mars"

Netizens are giving the picture various interpretations: Pacquiao opposes LGBT people, or Raymond fights those who are critical of LGBTQ.

Recently, Raymond came out as a member of the LGBTQ community.

With Pacquiao welcoming Raymond at the gym, perhaps this could signal a change in the boxing champ's opinions on LGBTQ.
