Award-winning actor Arjo Atayde was rushed to the hospital due to COVID-19.
This was contained in an official statement released by Ellen Criste, head of production, Feelmaking Productions Inc. on Aug. 18.
Criste also said that the Atayde family has reached out to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong and assured him that they will comply with the commitments to the city.
Test results showed that 10 people, including Arjo, were tested positive for the virus. The nine other stars were taken to a quarantine facility in Baguio City. Arjo and his team have been staying in Baguio City for almost two months to shoot a movie.
Magalong said Arjo left Baguio City and went back to Manila, despite instructions from him to wait for the results of the COVID tests. It turned out that Arjo was positive for COVID-19.
