PCG, BulSu hold virtual teaching workshop to develop teaching proficiency
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), in partnership with the Bulacan State University (BulSu) professors, held a virtual workshop for instructors and mentors in the armed service to develop their teaching proficiency and efficiency.
Personnel of the Coast Guard Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) and BulSu instructors have conducted a 10-day virtual program for PCG mentors and instructors, titled “Upgrading the teaching proficiency and efficiency of the PCG training.”

The PCG said the program aims to upgrade and develop the teaching proficiency of the personnel in command.
“The program aims to upgrade and develop the teaching proficiency and efficiency of the personnel of the CGETDC who are directly involved in the conduct and management of both basic and advanced courses of the command,” the Coast Guard said.

“The activity was in line with the command’s mandate of educating, training, and continuously develops coast guardians in equipping them with basic, advance, and strategic Coast Guard knowledge and skills necessary to effectively perform the PCG mission and functions,” it added.
The program started from Aug. 9 until 20 via virtual platform.
