CAVITE - The province's coronavirus disease (COVID-19) bed hospital utilization rate has reached 72.9 percent or high-risk level, as per the August 10 report of the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region IV-A (DOH CHD IV-A).
Several cities and municipalities are at a critical-risk level or have recorded a utilization rate of 85 percent and above. These include Carmona, Dasmariñas, General Trias, Imus, Silang, Tagaytay, and Tanza.
Bacoor, which has the most number of hospitals in the province, recorded a high-risk level hospital utilization rate at 72.1 percent.
As of August 16, Cavite has recorded 336 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its active cases to 9,239. The province has been placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) since August 6.
