In an online photo circulating over the weekend, a child dressed in PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is seen riding a hospital van.

It has reached over 40,000 shares, raising the concern that adults should be more careful and mindful in making sure they don't get infected with the dreaded COVID-19 virus and bringing it home. But upon further investigation, this scenario indeed happened, but it happened in Vietnam last June 24.
An article from Vietnam news site Dan Tri, which is linked in the post, reads: "The image of a five-year-old girl who was positive for SAR-CoV-2 had to temporarily stay away from her family, went to the hospital for treatment in a protective suit that was baggy compared to her body, causing may people grief." A few days after, her grandmother was also tested positive. "According to the medical staff, the 'little angel' listened to instructions, put on protective gear, and sat very obediently all the way. It is know that the baby is with her grandmother who is being treated at Trung Vuong Hospital. The baby's condition is stable."
Even if this didn't happen in the Philippines yet, we should all stay vigilant in making sure our homes are free from COVID-19. The pain of leaving your child alone in the hospital is heartbreaking for any parent or even grandparent to experience.
