The Muntinlupa City government has launched its “Bakuna sa Gabi” night vaccination for those belonging to the A4 priority group, or essential workers.
Starting Aug. 16, the New Cupang Health Center will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to help economic frontliners who are unable to go to vaccination sites due to their work.

The “Bakuna sa Gabi” will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., catering to A4 residents and non-residents who work in Muntinlupa.
The target is to vaccinate 700 A4 persons per day for a total of 2,100 vaccines per week. For the Aug. 16 slot, the AstraZeneca vaccine will be used.
The Muntinlupa City COVID-19 Vaccination Program team reminded the public that vaccination is still by appointment except for registered senior citizens.
As of Aug. 19, 393,769 vaccines have been administered in Muntinlupa. A total of 248,579 individuals, including 7,160 who were inoculated in vaccination sites in Muntinlupa private companies, have received the first dose, equivalent to 64.4 percent of the target population of 385,725.
In addition, 149,549 individuals are now fully vaccinated, or 38.7 percent of the target population.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi reiterated his call for the public to get vaccinated in Muntinlupa as protection against the coronavirus disease.
As of Aug. 15, Muntinlupa has 1,547 active COVID-19 cases out of 16,548 confirmed cases, 14,596 recoveries and 405 deaths.
