Nexplay Tempest proved that it is the strongest female League of Legends: Wild Rift team in Southeast Asia after coming through with an undefeated run to emerge as champion in the FSL Open III on Sunday, August 15.

Bannered by Charize Joyed "Chabi" Doble (ADC), Gia "Jeeya" Llanes (support), Angel Danica "Angelailaila" Lozada (jungler), Christine Ray "Rayray" Natividad (mid) and Rose Ann Marie "Hell Girl" Robles (baron) under coach and reserve Stephany Kate "Stephy" Bergado, NXP Tempest cruised to a flawless 15-0 campaign in the 30-team regional tournament.

NXP capped its majestic run with a sweet 3-0 sweep of Thailand's Space Gamer KALLYX in the grand finals.

Prior to that, the Filipino powerhouse squad smashed Vietnam's VEC Fantasy Girl, 2-0, in the semifinals.

Stephy's girls got off to a fiery start in the regional tourney as they crushed fellow Filipino teams AMYHAN, Nightingales and Astral in two-game series during the group stage on Thursday and Friday.

Having massive momentum, NXP went on to obliterate Wild Goddess of Vietnam (2-0) in the Round of 16 and BELLETRON ICY of Indonesia (2-0) in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

It was the second FSL crown this year for Nexplay after winning the first edition back in April. The team took the top prize of SGD 250 (nearly P10,000).
