Angel Locsin shares details of engagement, wedding

Angel Locsin and Neil Arce recently shared via a vlog some trivia about their engagement and civil wedding.

According to Neil, they were actually ready to tie the knot two to three weeks after he proposed to Angel in 2019. They were forced to postpone it due to the pandemic.

Angel got a "mock-up" version of their engagement ring after she lost the original during a show.

They tied the knot the same time the country snatched its first Olympics gold medal on July 26.

Angel described their wedding as "very intimate, very simple, very us."

The two revealed only a few members of their families knew about it.

In fact, they went to the venue without wedding vows as well as wedding rings.

Angel used a "fake" engagement ring, while Neil borrowed his son's.

In the video, Angel's 94-year-old father also shared his wish for the couple to soon give him a grandchild.

"Congratulations! I wish you happiness throughout your lives. But this could only be achieved if you took good care of each other, day by day."
