Sotto to Isko Moreno: 'Good luck' with new role in Aksyon Demokratiko
Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) chairman and Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III has wished Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso good luck as the latter takes on a new role as Aksyon Demokratiko's president.

Domagoso was elected as Aksyon Demokratiko's president on Thursday, August 12. He is a new member of the political party after resigning from the National Unity Party (NUP) ahead of the 2022 polls.
"To each his own. Good luck," Sotto said when asked for reaction on the mayor's election.
Last July 14, Sotto and Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson met with officers of the Aksyon Demokratiko for a possible alliance in next year's polls.
Sotto will be running for vice president next year, with newly-elected Partido Reporma chairman Lacson as his running mate for presidency.
The meeting has not been followed up with formal talks yet, Sotto earlier said.
He added that members of the NPC have also yet to decide on any alliances, although the Senate chief previously said that his party is not keen on coalescing with other political parties that could field opponents of their members and candidates.
Pre-election surveys have been listing Moreno as among the possible top contenders for the presidential and vice presidential race.
The mayor previously confirmed that he will run in 2022 polls but did not specify which post to vie for.
