Dingdong Dantes surprises Marian Rivera with sweet poem on her b-day

Dingdong Dantes made sure to make special his greeting for wife Marian Rivera on her 37th birthday.

He came up with a short poem, posting it on social media.

It read:

"Marimar ang programa kung saan una ko siyang nakilala / At ang tawag ko noon sa kaniya'y suplada / Pero ngayon, katorseng taon na ang nakalipas / Mahal na ang tawag ko sa kaniya / Maligayang kaarawan sa mestizang Caviteña / Salamat sa kanya at may isang Marian Rivera... oops / Misis Dantes na pala. (face throwing a kiss emoji)," it read.

Note that "Marimar" is a series they did together in 2007.

Marian and Dingdong tied the knot in 2014.

They now have two children.

Meanwhile, Dingdong also shared with fans a glimpse of Marian's simple birthday celebration.

"Basta’t gusto (at within ECQ guidelines) may paraan. At kahit tayo-tayo lang-- puwede naman! Salamat @teddymanuel sa last minute na tulong sa pagbuo nitong napakagandang kainan," he said.

Then he extended his gratitude to everyone who greeted his wife.

"Since we can not be with each other physically, your warm wishes definitely made her happy. Thank you for your video greetings."

As for Marian, she said that what she's most thankful for every day is "the gift of family."

"Thankful for 37 years of life. I am filled with gratitude for all of you and for all the blessings."
