Parishes serving as vaccination site in Kalookan diocese now 12

The number of parishes in the Diocese of Kalookan serving as vaccination sites has climbed to 12.

In an interview over Radio Veritas, Father Rene Richard Bernardo, head of the Health Care Ministry of the diocese, revealed that five more parishes have been added to the list.

Here is the list of parishes serving as vaccination sites in Malabon, Navotas, and Caloocan.

- Shrine of Our Lady of Grace Parish

11th Ave, East Grace Park, Caloocan, 1400 Metro Manila -San Pancracio Parish La Loma Cemetery Compound East Side Grace Park, Caloocan City -Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish Araneta Avenue corner Caimito Road, Caloocan City -Saints Peter and John Parish 34 Orange Road, Potrero, Malabon City -Our Lady of Lujan Parish 56 Malvar Ext. Bagong Barrio Caloocan City

-San Roque Cathedral Parish A. Bernardo urged the faithful in their diocese who want to be vaccinated to coordinate witn their parish.

‘We established the Parish Health Care Ministry under the Diocese of Kalookan Healthcare Ministry. We asked them to make a lists of vaccinees and we assist them," he said.

"Walk-ins are allowed for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs)," added Bernardo.

The priest explained that the schedule of vaccination also depends on the availability of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines.

Bernardo said each parish is allotted 500 doses of vaccines per day.

Kalookan Bishop Pablo David earlier directed parishes in his diocese to make their churches available to serve as vaccination sites.
