Vaccine czar, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and United States (US) Embassy Chargé d'Affaires John Law greeted each other with a fist bump as they welcomed the arrival of 813,150 doses of the Pfizer vaccine on Wednesday night, Aug. 11, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The American-made jabs touched down at around 8 p.m. at NAIA Terminal 3.

Out of the 813,150 doses of the anti-coronavirus disease (COVID-19) jabs, a total 607,230 doses went to Department of Health (DOH) Manila, while 102,920 doses were delivered to Davao via local carrier from NAIA.
