Barbie Forteza on BF Jak Roberto's 'conservative' ways

Barbie Forteza admitted her boyfriend, hunk actor Jak Roberto, could sometimes be too "conservative" if altogether traditional.

She recalled how he once called her out for wearing a curve-hugging outfit on TikTok.

"Naka-animal print ako na pang work out...ki-nol out niya ako na 'Bakit ganyan yung suot mo? Sana nag two piece ka na lang.' Sabi ko 'Napaka OA mo naman, wala din naman nakita.' I mean hindi revealing yung damit, fit lang."

Not that she finds Jak's gesture "toxic."

She understands that her partner of four years is just "concerned" about her well-being.

"May mga ganu'ng concern siya minsan pagdating sa pananamit ko pero hindi naman strikto. Pabiro lang din... Alam niya na ako, sa sarili ko, hindi ko ilalagay ang sarili ko sa alanganin."

She actually appreciates it.

"Nakakatuwa na bilang boyfriend, concerned siya in a cute way," she said.

Meanwhile, Barbie also shared her two cents about the recent fake news of their breakup that surfaced online.

"Na realize ko na dahil nga we're very open about our relationship, isa yan sa mga kailangan namin maranasan. Siyempre may mga trolls, may mga fake news, may bash, pamba-bash na mangyayari kasi nga open kami sa relasyon namin. Kaya siguro may mga tao, celebrities, na pinipili nilang gawing pribado yang bagay na yan."

Despite this, Barbie said they don't just mind it.

"Pinili namin maging open sa relationship kasi gusto namin i-share sa mga tao yung partner na nakakapagpasaya sa amin," she said.

"Shinare namin yung relationship namin upang sana may ma-inspire kaming couple na i-handle yung relationship nila the way we handle - no pressure, walang stress, walang bigat, wala masyadong responsibility, puno ng trust, punong-puno ng saya. Hindi kailangang mag-away sa maliit na bagay."

Anyway, the actress will be returning on the small screen Aug. 15 via the "Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko" series "Captain Barbie."
