The San Juan City local government announced on Tuesday that it will start the distribution of the financial aid or “ayuda” to its affected residents tomorrow, August 11.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said the LGU will start disbursing the ayuda in four barangays -- Barangay Isabelita, Addition Hills, St. Joseph, and Sta. Lucia -- using the same distribution procedure they did last April this year. It will be distributed by the staff of the City Treasury Department and the City Social Welfare and Development Department.
"Per batch ang magiging bigayan upang masunod ang health and safety protocols at maiwasan ang pagkukumpulan sa mga barangay halls (The distribution will be per batch in line with the health and safety protocols and to avoid overcrowding in barangay halls)," Zamora said.
He added that all beneficiaries will be given their own schedule and only 100 individuals will be allowed to enter the barangay halls per hour.
The beneficiaries are also reminded to bring the following:
1. Photocopy of any valid ID with three specimen signatures;
2. For representatives:
- Authorization letter
- Photocopy of any valid ID of the beneficiary with three specimen signatures
- Photocopy of any valid ID of the representative with three specimen signatures
Zamora said the list of beneficiaries per barangay is available in the city's official Facebook page and in their barangay halls. He also advised his constituents to wait for the schedule of their payout.
