Las Pinas LGU to start distribution of 'ayuda' in 3 barangays

The Las Piñas City government is now preparing for the distribution of financial assistance or “ayuda” to qualified beneficiaries affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

According to Public Information Office (PIO) chief Paul San Miguel, beneficiaries from three barangays -- Pamplona 2, Talon 4, and Talon 5 -- will receive their financial assistance worth P1,000 per person or a maximum of P4,000 per family.

San Miguel said Mayor Imelda Aguilar ordered the scheduling of payout in 20 barangays in the city to avoid crowding at covered courts.

The mayor told the residents to wear face masks and face shields, and observe physical distancing in going to cash aid distribution sites.
