Hemodialysis patients of PH Red Cross are now fully vaccinated vs COVID-19
All patients and their families in the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Dialysis Center located in Port Area, Manila are now fully vaccinated against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

PRC made this announcement on Tuesday, Aug. 10, as part of its efforts to vaccinate more individuals under COVID-19 priority groups. “Together with the government, we must do all we can to protect people and save lives,” PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Senator Richard Gordon.
The PRC Dialysis Center in Port Area, Manila has 24 patients. Including their family members, PRC said that a total of 87 individuals were already given their second dose of Sinovac.
“Every day, no matter what happens, the Red Cross volunteers and staff stand ready as we battle against this deadly virus,” Gordon said.
Currently, the PRC Hemodialysis Center has 24 patients but is actively looking for more since the facility can accommodate up to 60 to 90 patients - depending on whether they are on a twice or thrice a week hemodialysis program.
With its 15 state-of-the-art dialysis machines donated by Dr. Takao Suzuki, the chairperson of Tokushukai General Inc. Association, the PRC is offering the Good Samaritan Program to patients in need of hemodialysis treatment.
The following are the qualifications to avail of the Samaritan Program which are to be submitted to the Philippine Red Cross Hemodialysis Center in Port Area, Manila: clinical abstract, transfer/endorsement form or transfer of service, latest three (3) treatment sheets from previous dialysis center, CBC (latest, within a month), hepa profile (AntiHBS, HbsAg, Anti HCV), latest electrolytes (Creatinine, BUN, BUA, Albumin, SGPT, Sodium, Potassium, Ionized Calcium and Phosphorus), latest chest X-ray, cardiac clearance, certificate of indigency, social case study report, income tax report (ITR) - self or immediate family (if applicable), member data record (MDR), latest certificate of PhilHealth benefit consumption, one photocopy of valid ID of the patient, contact number of patient/relative (mobile or landline), Pantawid beneficiary certificate/id (4 Ps) and COVID-19 test.
