Derek Ramsay ends friendship with John Estrada

They have been buddies for some time.

In fact, John Estrada was instrumental in Derek Ramsay meeting the love of his life, fiancee Ellen Adarna.

But the friendship between the two is now over.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Derek made clear: “Hindi ko siya kaaway. Hindi ko siya kaibigan. He’s no longer a friend of mine. I just don’t want to associate myself with John.”

The rift was caused by a recent hullabaloo involving Ellen.

The sexy actress was put in a bad light after she was alleged to have walked out of the set of "John En Ellen."

Ellen, as with her management and Derek, refuted the allegation but the damage was done.

Derek said, “Yun ang nag-push sa akin na enough is enough.”

Ellen is no longer part of the show - but on her own volition.

As to the "attitude problem" Ellen supposedly displayed on set, Derek explained: “People should understand that we are in a pandemic. And you should also respect (Ellen's) wishes na pagkatapos ng eksena, rather than makipagtsikahan sa set, she wants to be safe and stay in her room. She doesn’t want to get sick kasi babalikan niya ang anak niya, babalikan niya ako, at babalikan niya ang magulang ko.” 

His message to John?

"I just want to avoid any negativity, I'm entering the next chapter of my life...I wish you well bro, but that friendship, is definitely out the door."
