Kris Aquino tells fans: 'See you on 8/8'

If plans do not miscarry, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino will make her first public appearance on Aug. 8. since the demise of her brother former President Noynoy Aquino last  June 24.


"See you sa 8/8," wrote Kris in the comment section of her latest post on Facebook today, Aug, 1.


Kris did not divulge details about the "8/8" event. But Willie Revillame, host of "Wowowin: Tutok to Win," previously revealed that he and Kris will host a special show sponsored by a popular online shopping brand on Aug. 8.

Fans of Kris said that they are happy for her latest post on social media, as she remembered her mom former President Corazon Aquino on her 12th death anniversary.

On Aug. 2, Tuesday, the Aquinos will observe the 40th day of former President Noynoy's death.

A netizen commented that he would love to see Kris in the Senate.

Kris responded: "No, not yet. But see you sa 8/8."

Another supporter of the Aquinos wrote: "May his (Noynoy) soul rest in peace. The goodness of his soul will always stay in our hearts because he was truly a gem. Thank you Aquino Family for everything you have done for our country and the Filipino people. Thank you for sharing this."

Kris replied: "Thank you sa privilege for allowing us to be a part of your lives."

A comment read: "Take your time Kris Aquino. I felt desolate w/ Pnoy’s passing, felt something missing in my life. I didn’t know him personally, but felt so. I pray that you & your sisters, the rest of your family & friends & we the rest of those who care & appreciate what Pnoy had done for the nation would eventually come to terms w/ our loss."

Kris replied: "Slowly."
