Parañaque LGU receives sacks of rice, noodles from South Korean Community Association

The Parañaque City government has received donations of sacks of rice and noodles from the city's South Korean Community Association on July 8.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez thanked the South Korean Community Association for its help to the city government in this time of pandemic.

Olivarez said he was grateful upon learning that the sacks of rice and Korean noodles donated to the city government costs around P250,000.

He said the South Korean Community Association also gave the city government 100,000 pieces of syringe on July 5 which are intended for the city government’s vaccination program.

The 100,000 syringe will be distributed to the city’s vaccination sites for use in the vaccination program. 

The mayor said the sacks of rice and Korean noodles will be distributed to families badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Olivarez, together with General Services Office Chief Elisa Pojanes, External and Homeowners Affairs Chief Eva Nono, City Epidemiologist Dr. Darius Sebastian, and Ospital ng Parañaque OSPAR Director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan personally received the donation from the South Korean Community Association.
