Max Collins breaks silence on rumored split from husband Pancho Magno

For the first time, Kapuso star Max Collins spoke about her rumored split from her husband Pancho Magno.

This after the gossip was fueled by social media posts from the couple, who held separate birthday parties for their son recently.

In an interview by GMA reporter Nelson Canlas, Max said that all is well between her and Pancho and things just happened coincidentally.

“To be honest that got a lot of controversies 'yung pictures ko, kasi my friends surprised me with such a cute party for Skye and it was really super fun," she said.

According to Max, it was just "unfortunate" that her husband couldn't make it that time.

As for Pancho's own party, it happened while Max was at work.

"So I was sad that I couldn't be there then," she cleared.

"But really now, all we are focusing on now is the fact that nag-enjoy siya sa dalawang parties. And it's sad na we couldn't be together on that day, but we are just gonna make bawi next time.”

Max admitted she really wanted to address the issue, relating that she and Pancho have talked about how for now he's giving her time to prioritize her career.

"So that means sa social media tahimik kami and we have our own branding bilang artista," she explained. “So, I'm so thankful to have a husband who supports me and who understands.”

Despite the controversies, Max pointed out that malicious rumors would always be part of being a celebrity.

“Well I feel like everyone is entitled to their own opinion and any publicity is still publicity. So okay lang naman if people wanna talk about us - they can talk about us, it's okay,” she said.

“Yeah, because kami lang talaga 'yung nakakaalam, how our lives are and how we are as parents to Skye. We filter what we show other people, because we like to keep our lives private.”
