Asian Institute of Management (AIM) President and Dean Jikyeong Kang will serve as the board chair of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.

AACSB International is the world's largest and most prestigious business education alliance and accreditation body.
"As a long-time volunteer of AACSB, I am honored to serve as chair of the board of directors during this pivotal time for business education," Jikyeong Kang said.
"Access to high-quality business education has the potential to create meaningful, lasting impact worldwide, and I believe AACSB is well-positioned to lead this effort. I look forward to joining my colleagues on the board of directors in this exciting endeavor," Kang added.
Kang is the first appointed AACSB board chair from an Asia Pacific business school since its inception in 1916.
At present, Kang serves as the first female president of AIM, the only school in the Philippines with AACSB accreditation -- one of the first 10 schools to be accredited in Asia.
Kang's term as board chair began on July 1, 2021, and will run until July 1, 2022.
