810 DSWD Central Office employees already vaccinated vs COVID-19
More than 800 employees of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Central Office in Batasan Hills, Quezon City have already been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The DSWD said Thursday, July 8, that as of July 1, a total of 810 DSWD Central Office employees have already received COVID-19 jabs.
As an expression of continued support to the government’s COVID-19 inoculation program, the social welfare department said it has issued a vaccination policy for all of its employees. The DSWD has more than 35,000 personnel nationwide.
The DSWD said its COVID-19 Vaccination policy provides an implementing mechanism for the profiling of DSWD employees who are eligible to receive vaccines and for the conduct of immunization in accredited and certified vaccination sites of the Department of Health (DOH).
“The deployment of vaccines will be in a phased approach depending on the delivery and availability of vaccines and logistical requirements,” it said.
“In addition, the execution of the vaccination program will be in accordance with the National Vaccination Plan, that is, all frontline healthcare workers will be vaccinated first before proceeding to the next priority group.”
The employees of DSWD belong to the A4 priority group as part of the government workforce.
“The Department, through its Social Marketing Service (SMS), will also continue to provide relevant and updated information about the Philippine National Deployment and Vaccination Plan to assist employees as they make informed decisions about their inoculation,” the DSWD said.
