Nadine Samonte on third pregnancy amid PCOS, APAS

Actress Nadine Samonte has said that she is grateful for her third baby!

"Thank you Lord for our 3rd baby. Yes I still have PCOS and mostly APAS. This journey is particularly different from my 2 kids. We almost lost our baby during my first trimester but with Gods grace and Guidance hindi nya kami pinabayaan. God is Good," Nadine wrote on Instagram.

According to the Mayo Clinic, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age while antiphospholipid syndrome occurs when the immune system mistakenly creates antibodies that make someone's blood much more likely to clot.

This can cause dangerous blood clots in the legs, kidneys, lungs and brain. In pregnant women, antiphospholipid syndrome also can result in miscarriage and stillbirth.

Nadine said that she has become stronger in her journey to motherhood.

"And more to come. Not complaining but hey I can say I'm one strong momma here fighting for my babies. Ang dami kong iniyak sa journey na to hehe pero I won't give up EVER! I'll fight and stay strong for them!!! Go APAS and PCOS mommas out there. Kaya natin to. Hello to our rainbow baby soon. Our last."

Last March, during her second trimester, the 33-year-old star announced that they are now a family of five.

She deemed it as an "unexpected gift."
