Alex Eala, Priska Nugroho team up once again for Wimbledon Juniors

Alex Eala guns for a third Grand Slam Girls Doubles crown when she pairs up once again with Indonesian Priska Madelyn Nugroho in the Wimbledon Juniors Championships.
Eala and Nugroho are seeded third in the event and are scheduled to clash with Japan’s Erika Matsuda and United States’ Valencia Xu in the opening round late Tuesday, July 6.
This would be the second Grand Slam Juniors event that Eala and Nugroho are partnering. They first paired up and won the 2020 Australian Open Girls Doubles title.
Eala’s other Grand Slam Girls Doubles crown came from the 2021 French Open last June with Russian partner Oksana Selekhmeteva.
Eala debuted in the Wimbledon with a bang on Monday, July 5, after cruising to a 6-2, 6-4 win over Argentina’s Solana Sierra in the opening round.
The 16-year-old PH bet will collide with Ane Mintegi Del Olmo in Wednesday’s second round after the Spaniard clobbered Italy’s Eleonora Alvisi, 6-1, 6-0, in 52 minutes.
