7,000 fully-vaccinated seniors in Makati City get P1,000 GC

Nearly 7,000 fully-vaccinated senior citizens in Makati City have claimed their P1,000 gift certificates (GCs) from the city government.

This was announced by Makati City Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay on Twitter, Tuesday night (July 6).

“Umabot na sa 6,586 fully-vaccinated senior citizens ang nakatanggap ng P1,000 cash incentive mula sa pamahalaang lungsod ng Makati ngayong Martes, July 6 (As of July 6, the total number of vaccinated senior citizens in Makati City who received the P1,000 cash incentive from the city government has reached 6,586),” the mayor said.

Fully-vaccinated senior citizens may claim their P1,000 GCs from the Makati City local government in two malls — Ayala Malls Circuit and Glorietta 2.

The local government of Makati said fully-vaccinated senior citizens must bring their vaccination cards and their white card or Blu card.

After presenting their cards proving that they are fully vaccinated and are residents of Makati, personnel of the city hall will then give them their P1,000 GC.

Should a senior citizen cannot claim his/her GC, he/she may send a representative bringing his/her original identification card, its photocopy, and authorization letter.

Makati City has started distributing the gift certificates on July 1.
