Known for helping others find long-lost loved ones, Jessica Soho recently offered to help new Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo find her British father.

But the 33-year-old star respectfully declined, saying: "Naku wag na po natin hanapin yung tatay ko. Kawawa naman po yung nanay ko."

According to Bea, her parents separated when she was just four years old and she never met her dad.

Despite this, the seasoned artist said she never felt something is missing in her life.

"It was a very painful past," she said about it. "Pero nabuo naman yung pagkatao ko na wala akong ama."

"So growing up, hindi ko na feel na merong pagkukulang kasi my mom is also my dad."

Bea is thankful that her stepdad, who has been married to her mom for 17 years already, also played a huge role in her life.

"At first parang hindi ko pa siya tinatanggap pero alam mo itong stepdad ko po, parang naging biggest blessings sa pamilya namin kasi siya yung parang naging glue. Siya yung dahilan kung bakit kami ganito ka-close," she said.

Later she maintained: "Gusto mo parang yung bang traditional family pero minsan may mga blended families na sometimes it just works. And sometimes you just have to be happy about it."
