Ciara Sotto is single again

Rumor about Ciara Sotto having broken up with longtime boyfriend Ian Austin has been going on for some time.

The actress finally addressed the issue in a Q & A with fans, July 2, something she organized as part of her 41st birthday celebration.

"I'm single now," she declared, simply.

Asked for the reason of the breakup, she shared, "Sometimes things don’t work out...I just feel that when something has to end, just end it, especially when you have peace in your heart...when things are not working anymore, you just have to let things go and wait for God to surprise you again."

In the same Q & A session, Ciara was asked as to her relationship with ex-husband, Joe Oconer, with whm she has a son, Crixus.

"We’re friends, we’re really, really good friends. As in friends that, you know, we can see each other anytime, call each other anytime," she related.

The two broke up years back amid allegation that Joe has another woman.

Said Ciara, "Napatawad ko na siya...It’s really hard if you harbor unforgiveness in your heart. I mean, when you forgive someone, you do it for yourself, it’s not for the person...It doesn’t get the person off the hook. I mean, whatever that person does, it’s already his problem...yeah, it’s always best to forgive and I do not want my son to grow up knowing he has a very unforgiving mom...we’re friends and maybe, one of these days, I’ll guest him naman in my vlog."
