Pia Wurtzbach is stranded in Dubai

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is currently stuck in Dubai following the Philippines' travel ban being extended until Aug. 15.

Recall that the country’s borders will remain shut to travelers from the United Arab Emirates and nine other countries as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus as fueled by the Delta variant.

Note that Pia flew to Dubai to reunite with her boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey, early this month.

On Twitter, a netizen asked the beauty queen: "Totoo po bang na lockdown kayo sa Dubai? #AskPia kaya po d kayo nakauwi ng Pinas?"

Which she replied: "Yes! Kaya ang daming di makauwi sa Pilipinas na mga OFWs.. I really feel for them. May mga nakilala at nakausap narin ako dito at di nga sila makauwi.. sana bumaba na delta cases at malift na yung ban na ito lalo na kung vaccinated narin naman mga kababayan natin."

Anyway, in another tweet, Pia thanked an online user who informed her about the "repatriation flights" that will be available in August.
