Magandang Filipinas reacts to Eva Patalinjug's resignation as its national director

Magandang Filipinas is "disheartened" that their once "cordial and professional relationship" with Miss Grand International Philippines 2018 Eva Patalinjug has tragically come to an end.

"We appreciate Ms. Eva Patalinjug's dedication and passion in her work. However, no matter how dedicated and passionate one can be, if it is too much, beyond one's authority, it is not anymore good," they said.

Recall that the beauty queen has severed ties with the Magandang Filipinas beauty pageant due to alleged failure in transparency.

Owner and chairman, Shadrach Lopez Crisostomo said in the statement that Eva is "just creating her misery by carrying the weight of something she was not obliged to carry."

"As much as we want to avoid cleaning our linens in public, in our defense, we are forced to shed the light on the issue."

TheyÂ noted that Eva's resignation is a breach of their agreement and may be subject to legal action.
