Jo In-sung, Cho Seung-woo, Song Ji-hyo, Park Seo-joon and Jo Jung-suk copped the first five places in the Korean movie star brand reputation rankings in July.

The Korea Corporate Research Institute released the rankings based on an analysis of 118.45 million pieces of big data of 50 movie stars from June 30 to July 30, a decrease of 10.7 percent from 132.64 million in May.

The brand reputation index is obtained by extracting brand big data and analyzing consumer behavior. The consumers’ brand consumption patterns were analyzed based on consumer participation, media exposure, communication and community indices.

For July 2021, Jo In-sung, whose movie “Escape from Mogadishu” premiered on July 28, took first place with a brand reputation index score of 4.13 million.

In second place is the Cho Seung-woo, known for the films “Inside Men” and “Assassination,” with a score of 4.11 million.

Actress Song Ji-hyo, star of the Korean variety show “Running Man and the web series “The Witch's Diner,” grabbed third place with a brand reputation index score of 4.06 million.

Park Seo-joon, star of the dramas “What's Wrong with Secretary Kim” and “Itaewon Class,” came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3.95 million.

Jo Jung-suk, star of the Korean drama “Hospital Playlist,’ grabbed fifth place with a score of 3.87 million.

Song Joong-ki, star of the drama “Vincenzo,” took sixth place with a brand reputation ranking score of 3.82 million.
