Former Bb. Pilipinas candidate is first-ever Miss Aura Philippines

Alexandra Faith Garcia, a Binibining Pilipinas 2021 candidate from Olongapo City, is now Miss Aura Philippines.

According to the organizers, they have appointed her to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Aura International to be held in Turkey this September.

In another post, they shared how they come up with the decision.

"The Miss Aura International Philippines Organization initially planned to hold a national pageant but due to time constraints and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we opted to hold a special screening," they said.

"After considering the international pageant's requirements and qualification, Alexandra Faith Garcia was chosen as the inaugural Philippine representative. During the final selection process, she won the nod of the organization as she fits the 4Bs qualifications that the international pageant is looking for - Beauty, Behavior, Brain, and Body."

Miss Aura International focuses on Tourism promotion. It was inaugurated in 2006. It is the first time for the Philippines to send a candidate to this pageant.

On Instagram, Garcia expressed gratitude for her appointment.

"Today has been a meaningful event for me and the Philippine pageantry. As I received the honor of becoming the first @missauraphilippinesofficial, I know that the title comes with great responsibility," she started. "I pray that the entire Philippines will rally behind me as I prepare to represent our country in Turkey this coming September."

"To all the people who continue to believe in me, my gratitude goes to all of you, and I am forever indebted. I will do my best to raise our flag in the @miss_aura_international 2021 pageant. Have faith, Philippines. Have faith! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!"
