Richard Gomez recovers, goes back to work

Actor and Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez has recovered after testing positive for COVID-19 recently.

This was revealed by popular entertainment columnist Lolit Solis on Instagram on July 30.

"Mabuti naman at magaling na si Mayor Richard Gomez ng Ormoc, Salve. Talagang tutok kasi sa trabaho si Mayor Goma kaya siguro tinamaan din ng sakit," said Lolit on social media.

Lolit added: "Welcome back to your beloved work as Mayor of Ormoc, Richard Gomez. Sobra talaga ang passion mo as a leader kaya nagagawa mo ng maganda ang iyong trabaho. Congrats. Bongga. Fighting."

On July 17, Richard confirmed he has tested for COVID-19.

The symptoms were mild and manageable, he said.

“I will need a lot of rest and will have to be in isolation until I’m better…I will go back to work as soon as doctors will give the clearance. I ask everyone to continue to be vigilant and safe,” said Richard before he was isolated.
