Quiapo Church conducts online survey on Traslacion 2022 theme

An online survey is currently being conducted by the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene (Quiapo Church) in Manila on what will be the theme of Traslacion 2022.

"The Basilica Minore of the Black Nazarene asks for your time in choosing what will be the theme in the upcoming Traslacion 2022," Father Douglas Badong, parochial vicar of Quiapo Curch, said in a Facebook post.

"It is best to read the entirety of each Bible theme before choosing. Please also comment on why you chose that," he added.

Here are the Bible themes that participants can choose from and the number of votes received as of 2 p.m. Thursday, July 29.

Those who wish to participate in the informal survey may check the Facebook page of Quiapo Church.

The Feast of the Black Nazarene every January 9 has been highlighted by the traditional traslacion procession which commemorates the transfer of the image from Luneta to Quiapo Church.

However, no procession was held this year due to the continuing threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
