Through its "Vacc To Normal" campaign, Grab said several initiatives will be rolled out to prod its partners to get vaccinated. These include raffles, exclusive rewards, and insurance coverage.

"Our driver and delivery partners provide essential services and everyday support to many of our kababayans (countrymen), and we believe that getting them vaccinated is a key step towards helping our broader communities and economy gradually recover from the impacts of the COVID," Grab Philippines Country Head Grace Vera Cruz said.

According to Grab, the first 4,000 drivers and 4,000 delivery riders to get vaccinated will each get P200 worth of grocery vouchers for the first shot and another P800 worth of grocery vouchers after their second shot.

Grab also announced that it will provide insurance coverage to all its partners in case of adverse side effects from vaccination.

Meanwhile, the ride-hailing giant said it will be raffling off "exciting prizes" to its partners every time the number of vaccinated drivers and delivery riders reaches certain percentage milestones.

• At 50 percent - 100 Grab partners will get a one-year supply of fuel

• At 75 percent - 70 partners will get laptops

• At 100 percent - 30 partners will get Yamaha Aerox motorcycles

"Through our Vacc To Normal campaign, we are reinforcing our steadfast commitment to the well-being of our driver and delivery partners, and further motivate many Filipinos to get vaccinated," Vera Cruz added.

Aside from dangling the rewards, Grab said it is also regularly educating its partners on the benefits of getting vaccinated through different initiatives.
