Dawn Zulueta mourns loss of pet dog

Dawn Zulueta is grieving following the death of her one-year-old fur baby Scrappy.

She announced the news on Instagram.

"With sadness and deep regret… our dearest Scrappy is gone too soon," her caption read.

According to the fur mom, her Jack Russel Terrier would have been two years old this coming October.

Dawn revealed that Scrappy died of "accidental drowning."

The seasoned actress noted that she and her husband Anton Lagdameo and their kids are still in shock and total disbelief.

Meanwhile, she said Scrappy's "BFF," Pluto the Great Dane, has been "downcast" while Bruno the Cane Corso "cried" when he saw the remains.

"Yesterday, a lovely rainbow appeared right at the direction where we buried him. Because of that, we believe Scrappy wanted to let us know that he’s in a happier place now," she shared last July 27.

"We will miss you, Scrappy; you brought us so much joy & laughter… Run free to your rainbow bridge."

Recall that Scrappy came to the lives of Dawn and her family just some months before their seven-year-old Scooby the Great Dane passed away.
