Senator Nancy Binay looks gorgeous in her SONA 2021 look

Totally chic and sophisticated

Confident and sophisticated, that's what Senator Nancy Binay exuded with black and white ensemble during the opening of the third regular session of the 18th Congress, in the morning of President Rodrigo Duterte's last State of the Nation Address on July 26, 2021.

According to the senator she re-wore this black barong-inspired Randy Ortiz piece from 2016, and elevated it by pairing it with a white pinstripe wide leg pants with a lace face mask to complete her look. And it seems like netizens approved of her latest SONA look.

In the past SONAs, the senator hasn't been on everyone's top best dressed list and her wearing designer Randy Ortiz pieces mostly garnered humorous responses from netizens.

In 2014, her look drew mixed reactions with some comparing it to a hot air balloon. The following year, she donned a deep blue terno, which she described as "boring." A powder blue terno caused yet another funny style mishap as Nancy's dress matched the color of the carpet of the Senate Hall.

Last year, she wore a piÃ±a cocoon ruffled top with black slacks, much like what she put on this year. But we've got to admit, her SONA 2021 look with her blown up hair has the perfect balance of modern and traditional. Throughout the years of her SONA attendance, the senator proved that attaining great style comes with a few fashion risks and faux pas.
