The Bureau of Customs-Port of NAIA (BOC-NAIA) has cleared the 324,090 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccines that arrived in the country on Monday night, July 26.

The particular batch of vaccines were flown in at 9:20 p.m. at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
The life-saving jabs were pre-cleared by the Port of NAIA’s One Stop Shop prior its arrival. They were immediately transported to the Pharmaserve cold storage facility in Marikina City for safekeeping.
Since May, a total of 3,364,920 doses of the United States (US)-made Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines have been cleared by the BOC.
Port of NAIA District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan said they remain committed to expeditiously facilitate the processing and release of COVID-19 vaccine shipments as a way to support the government’s mass vaccination program
