Paranaque LGU closes Local Civil Registry for three days

The Paranaque City Health Office (CHO) ordered the closure of the local civil registry office for three days, from July 26 to 28, after one of its staff members tested positive in an anti-gen test for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Mayor Edwin Olivarez, upon the recommendation of Dr. Olga Virtusio, CHO head, ordered the temporary closure of the Civil Registry Office and its immediate cleansing and sanitation.

Dr. Virtusio said only the Death Section of the Civil Registry Office will be operational.

Olivarez also monitored and inspected the offices frequently visited by the taxpayers such as the Business Permit and Licensing Office, Treasurer's Office, and the Assessor's Office to ensure that basic health protocols are being followed.
