Nutritional benefits of duck eggs

Ducks are another kind of poultry that provides a valuable contribution to human health and nutrition because their meat and eggs have health benefits that many people enjoy. 

Duck eggs are larger than chicken eggs, weighing 10 to 20 grams more. It is estimated that a duck egg provides about 70 grams of food with both the yolk and whites intact.

But aside from providing more food, duck eggs also contain minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium. There are also higher levels of vitamin A in duck eggs than in chicken eggs.

Another health benefit of duck eggs is that it contains unsaturated fatty acids which don’t raise the harmful cholesterol in the blood, making it a good addition to any diet that wants to lower cholesterol levels. 

These unsaturated fatty acids can also be found in duck meat, which is why some people choose to eat duck rather than chicken. 

Ducks are a good source of meat and eggs which provide nutrients along with several health benefits. That’s why ducks shouldn’t be overlooked as a key player in the poultry industry.
