Netizens laud opening of PRC office in Muntinlupa

Netizens have praised the planned opening of an office of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in Muntinlupa.

The PRC is set to open a new service center at Ayala Malls South Park in Alabang to cater to professionals in southern Metro Manila and nearby areas.

The Muntinlupa center will provide the same services offered by the PRC head office including application for examination, initial registration, renewal of professional identification card, and certification of board rating and passing.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi signed a memorandum of agreement with PRC-National Capital Region Director Lord Louis Valera, Ayala Land Holdings Logistics Corp. (AHLC) president Rowena Tomeldan, and AHLC Commercial Leading head Jessica Santos for the turnover of the service center last July 22.

Valera thanked the mayor and the city government for assisting the commission in bringing its services closer to professionals living in Southern Metro Manila and nearby areas.

“Wow.. Malapit na ang pagrerenew ng license. Thanks Mayor JRF,” one netizen posted on the Muntinlupa City government’s Facebook page.

Another posted, “This is a big news and blessing for Muntinlupeno professionals seeking the services of the PRC! Cheers to the City Government of Muntinlupa and PRC!”

Other comments include “God bless,city of Muntinlupa officials, Mayor Jaime Fresnedi,” “Thank you so much po! Great job and help for us!,” “Thank you Mayor JRF and PRC officials,” “Wow that's really a big news for us. Mas malapit na ang pagrerenew ng license. Thank you so much. God bless po.”

The PRC Service Center in Muntinlupa is set to be fully operational in the coming weeks.

Other officials who attended the turnover ceremony were PRC Finance and Administrative Service chief Ronald Watsons, PRC Licensure and Registration Division chief Alfonso Viloria, PRC ICT Section head Ronald Allan Denoso, Ayala Malls South Park general manager Jan Estrella, and Mayor's Office chief-of-staff Atty. Rosalina Tesorio.
