DLSU allows students to apply for 'approved absence' to register to vote
To help promote voter registration, the De La Salle University (DLSU) has allowed its students to apply for an "approved absence" to register to vote for the 2022 elections.

"To ensure that all eligible members of the Lasallian Community will be able to vote in May 2022 general elections, everyone is encouraged to visit the neatest COMELEC Office and Satellite Registration site to process their voter registration, transfer, reactivation, or verification," DLSU Chancellor Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC announced.
Meanwhile, faculty and staff of DLSU may also file an official business request for the same purpose.
"Let us all register, vote, and actively participate in determining the future of our nation," Oca added.
At least four million new voters have registered for the 2022 general elections.
Voting registration is until Sept. 30, 2021.
