Water tank collapses in Caloocan City; 2 hurt, cars and houses damaged

Two persons were injured while several cars and houses were damaged after a water tank collapsed on Lilac Street at Phase 1, Palmera, Barangay 175 in Caloocan City early Saturday morning, July 24, due to heavy rain.

The incident was reported by the Caloocan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department.



Mayor Oca Malapitan immediately deployed two water tanks to supply water to the affected residents.



The water concessioner promised to cover the treatment of the two injured individuals and the repair of damaged houses and vehicles.
