Dani Barretto apologizes following father Kier Legaspi's cryptic post

Dani Barretto has apologized to those offended by revelations she made in her recent interview with Vicki Belo.

This was after his father Kier Legaspi shared a cryptic post on social media.

The daughter of Marjorie Barretto clarified she didn't meant to appear to attack him in the interview.

"I was asked about him, but the interview wasn't about him," Dani wrote in a direct message on Instagram. "There was no hidden agenda to make him feel like he was being attacked."

Then added: "If I don't remember him being at my 2nd birthday party. I honestly don't even remember having a 2nd or a 3rd birthday party. For that, I apologize. I only answered what I remember and experienced, nothing more, nothing less."

Recall that an unnamed source has shared photos from Dani's second birthday party with GMA News, which seemingly refuted what the online content creator said during her interview with Vicki.

“I don’t think I actually celebrated a birthday with my dad. Growing up, that was actually a major frustration for me. Kasi siyempre, when you have friends, you see them at birthday parties, tapos may cake blowing, tapos complete family pag may birthday,” Dani said then.

Note that after that viral interview, Kier talked about how he’s trying to take “all the punches and lies.”

Anyway, Dani noted her dad could call her "anytime."

"My dad has my number. My phone is always open, and he is also welcome to come to our house anytime to talk about these things, so he can also finally meet his granddaughter."
