More than 380,000 vaccines deployed in Mandaluyong; LGU ramps up 'Relax, We're Vaxed' program
The Mandaluyong City local government announced on Friday that the city has already deployed more than 380,000 vaccines to its constituents amid the growing threat of the COVID-19 Delta variant.

According to the City Health Office (CHO), a total of 383,424 vaccines have been administered to the public as of July 22 with 243,086 residents receiving their first dose, while 140,338 have been fully vaccinated.
Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos and city government officials continue to attach safety seal stickers as part of the city's "Relax, We're Vaxed" program to households and establishments with qualified occupants that have already received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"Nagkaroon din ng on-site vaccination para sa mga senior citizens na nais magpabakuna mula sa Barangay Poblacion, Barangay Pag-Asa at Barangay Burol upang hindi na sila mahirapang magpunta sa mga vaccination sites (We also conducted on-site vaccinations for senior citizens of Barangay Poblacion, Barangay Pag-Asa, and Barangay Burol so that they won't need to go to the vaccination sites)," Abalos said.
Abalos urged her constituents to register for the city's vaccination program for Mandaluyong to achieve herd immunity as soon as possible.
As of July 22, the city recorded 152 active COVID-19 cases, 16,569 recoveries, and 430 deaths.
