Lara Quigaman opens up on recent hospitalization

Former beauty queen-actress Lara Quigaman was recently hospitalized due to acute pyelonephritis or kidney infection.

On Instagram, Lara recalled getting rushed to the hospital after two days of high fever and chills.

Because of that, she was isolated until she got a negative COVID-19 test result.

Then she spent three nights in there.

She deemed her first two days "horrible" as she suffered fever and chills.

Lara admitted she felt guilty for wanting to rest.

"I got what I wished for, but it was horrible, I was in pain and shivering, and alone," she related.

"But God knew I needed to rest. He reminded me that my children will survive without me. That I also need to take care of me."

Note that it all happened after she and her family got back from a week-long vacation in Cebu.

Recall that they had their escapade to celebrate the ninth anniversary of her marriage to Marco Alcaraz, as well as the actor's 41st birthday.
