Pasay LGU to inoculate elderly with J&J vaccines on Seniors' Day

The Pasay City government will conduct a three-day vaccination for senior citizens in celebration of Pasay City’s Seniors' Day on July 23-25.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government received a total of 2,800 Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccines from the national government.

Rubiano encouraged all senior citizens in the city who have not received any vaccines to register at the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs Office (OSCA) in their barangay and be part of Pasay City’s Seniors' Day to be held at the Cuneta Astrodome.

She said the vaccines received by the city government will be used on 2,800 senior citizens in the city.

The mayor said the city government is eyeing the immediate completion of the vaccination of all the senior citizens in the city.

Rubiano said the city government even organized a raffle draw for fully vaccinated senior citizens.

She added that aside from the raffle draw for the fully vaccinated senior citizens, the city government will also give incentives to barangays that have successfully inoculated their senior citizens including those with comorbidities.
