NCR mayors urged IATF, children must stay home again

In Manila City Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso's Facebook live update last July 20, he shared that the Metro Manila mayors had a meeting with the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) In that meeting, they voted for children five years and up to be allowed outside to be put on hold. Barely a week has passed since the announcement that children five years old and up are allowed outdoors, Mayor Domagoso reminded parents that it's best to keep children indoors for now. According to Philippine News Agency, he said in his Facebook live, "For the meantime, mga nanay at tatay, medyo kalawitin nyo muna yung mga anak ninyo at mapagsabihan ninyong as much as possible, stay at home. Para rin naman sa inyo yan (parents, please tell your children to, as much as possible, stay at home. This is for you anyway."

With some countries going on lockdown or heightened restrictions again, it is best to be safe and continue practicing safe measures against COVID-19.
